L'11 novembre ci ha lasciato uno dei grandi del basso elettrico, musicista di grande levatura, maestro fra i maestri. Da tempo lottava conto la sindrome di Charcot–Marie–Tooth, con queste poche parole vogliamo salutare per l'ultima volta Victor Bailey, bassista dei Weather Report dal 1982 al 1986, che più volte abbiamo incontrato durante la nostra attività.

Riportiamo come da comunicato:
Victor passed away on the morning of Friday, November 11. Your messages and postings made a huge difference for Victor during the past year and more as things became very difficult for him health wise. The love and encouragement you provided him touched him in many ways and helped to keep going everyday. He was very appreciative and thankful for all of you. His positive outlook during the most difficult of times was quite amazing.
