Gli Opeth firmano con Nuclear Blast e annunciano un nuovo album

Dopo undici anni, quattro album in studio ed una raccolta live, gli Opeth si sono separati da Roadrunner, seguendo ciò che anche Soulfly e Machine Head hanno fatto in passato. La nuova destinazione? Nuclear Blast ovviamente!

“We’re happy to confirm that we have indeed signed a deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment and will be putting out our 12th studio album Sorceress via our own imprint, Moderbolaget Records. The decision was made in Markus Staiger’s (Nuclear Blast kingpin) ridiculously potent Porsche going at 150 mph somewhere in the south of Germany. We’re happy to be part of the NB team and look forward to a fruitful relationship.”

La band non solo annuncia l'entrata nella scuderia Nuclear Blast grazie ad un accordo per la quale quest'ultima assorbirà le produzioni dell'etichetta della band, ma conferma anche l'arrivo del nuovo album in studio, "Sorceress", che dovrebbe vedere la luce in autunno....
