CAT STEVENS il 50° anniversario di "Catch Bull At Four"

Pubblicato il 27 settembre 1972 sulla scia del successo planetario dei tre dischi che lo avevano preceduto (Mona Bone Jakon, Tea For The Tillerman e Teaser And The Firecat), Catch Bull At Four si posizionò per tre settimane alla posizione #1 di Billboard Top 200 divenendo in quel momento l’album più venduto di Cat Stevens.

Accanto a Cat Stevens nell’album, Alun Davies (chitarra), Alan James (basso), Gerry Conway (batteria) e Jean Roussel (tastiere). Produzione: Paul Samwell-Smith.

Per celebrare il 50° anniversario di Catch Bull At Four, il 2 dicembre 2022 Island Records pubblicherà l’album rimasterizzato (24bit/96kHz) nelle versioni vinile 180g, CD e CD Limited Edition, quest’ultimo completo di nuovo booklet di 16 pagine comprensivo di foto, testi, articoli stampa dell’epoca e memorabilia.
