Arriva ora da Los Angeles una notizia destinata a tutti gli appassionati del jazz d’alta scuola: Larry Coryell pubblica “Barefoot Man: Sanpaku” (Purple Pyramid Records), il suo nuovo album di composizioni inedite.
“Mi sono ispirato a John Lappen, alle suggestioni dei ‘70 e a quel tipo di energia. Il risultato è andato oltre le mie aspettative… Accanto a me c’è una sezione ritmica grandiosa, costituita da John Lee e Lee Pierson, e ci sono anche Lynne Arriale e Dan Jordan, due solisti della Florida conosciuti nel mondo! Infine, c’è la produzione di Michael Franklin, la mano che ha reso realtà questo progetto…”
