In arrivo un nuovo album per gli In Flames: "Battles"

Sono passati due anni dall'ultimo capitolo discografico firmato In Flames, e la band svedese è pronta per tornare con un nuovo lotto d'inediti che finalmente, dopo tanto vociferare, gode anche di una data di pubblicazione ufficiale. Arriverà sugli scaffali l'11 novembre prossimo e si chiamerà Battles, tutti i fan della metal band capitanata da Andres Fridén possono quindi iniziare a festeggiare.

Battlesè stato prodotto da Howard Benson, che in passato ha lavorato con Motorhead, Body Count e Sepultura, ed a detta della band ha segnato un importante cambiamento rispetto al lavoro fatto per il precedente "Siren".

“Siren Charms had a very dark vibe to it," ha detto il chitarrista Björn Gelotte “We recorded it at a cold, damp and dark time during the year in Berlin so it gave it a certain melancholy to the record. Now recording in L.A. with the sunshine it’s a different energy. The writing process was different this time, too—that I would like for us to continue to explore. Battles è stato anticipato in queti giorni dalla pubblicazione del brano "The End", disponibile per l'ascolto tramite il nostro player allegato. Gli In Flames saranno in Europa a partire da gennaio 2017, quando in compagnia dei Disturbed porteranno il nuovo album dal vivo.
