Tye Trujillo nei Korn per sei date live

Che avesse già grandi qualità era ormai cosa dimostrata, ma che potesse addirittura finire in formazione con una band come i Korn deve suonare come una sorpresa anche per il padre: il figlio di Robert Trujillo, Tye (12 anni), sostituirà Fieldy nei Korn per una serie di show!

La band ha annunciato in un comunicato:
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Fieldy is unable to make the shows so the band will be joined by a special guest. Filling in for bass duties will be Tye Trujillo, the 12-year old son of Metallica's Robert Trujillo and member of NorCal group The Helmets. We are bummed Fieldy can't join us on this run but excited to do a few gigs with a young player like Tye. We look forward to welcoming our brother Fieldy back when we return to the States in May."

Tye Trujillo aveva già dato ottima prova di sé con i The Helmets, band che si è fatta conoscere soprattutto per una media d'età bassissima, fattore che non ha comunque ostacolato il raggiungimento di traguardi musicali importanti. Tye sostituirà Fieldy nei Korn per sei date che vedranno la band impegnata in Colombia, Brasile, Argentina e Cile. Probabilmente sentiremo parlare ancora...
