VOIVOD il 10 luglio esce l'EP “The End Of Dormancy"
Tre gli episodi della scaletta: l'omonimo brano orchestrato con tanto di sezione metal/brass (tromba-sassofono-trombone); la relativa versione live registrata al Montreal Jazz Fest 2019, e la versione di “The Unknown Knows”, tratta sempre dall’esibizione della band al suddetto festival.

“The Wake” (2018) è l’ultimo album dei Voivod, nella cui tracklist appare “The End Of Dormancy”: ovvero, il brano che il quartetto canadese ha elaborato nella versione orchestrata e che dà il titolo all’Ep in arrivo a luglio.
Registrato e mixato da Francis Perron ai RadicArt Recordin Studiosk “The Wake” (14esimo album della celebre progressive metal band del Quebec) si è aggiudicato un Juno Award for “Metal/Hard Music Album Of The Year” e raggiunto le seguenti posizioni in classifica: Germania: # 26, Svizzera: # 51, Belgio (Wallonia): # 94, USA Current: # 97, USA New Artist: # 8, USA Overall: # 148
